ABOUT NETIVOT ALIYA

נתיבות עלייה היא תוכנית ייחודית לבנות דוברות אנגלית (עולות חדשות או וותיקות), שרוצות לעשות את שרות לאומי בסביבה תומכת. התוכנית מיוחדת גם לבנות שעשו עלייה עם משפחותיהן וגם לבנות שעלו לבד.

Netivot Aliya is a program for English speaking girls who want to do Sherut Leumi in a supportive environment - both girls who made Aliya with their families and girls making Aliya alone.

We'll help you find your ideal Sherut Leumi placement with Aminadav. Live together with other new olot in Kiryat Moshe, Jerusalem. Option of shorter 6½-hour work day (instead of 8 hours). Once a week instead of work you get a special day of workshops and activities, "Tools For Life" to help your transition, as well as an engaging Torah class, group meal, and optional ulpan.

OUR STORY
We're Miriam and Ari Heitner, and we moved to Ramat Bet Shemesh in 2013 after working for NCSY in Toronto. We found new olot were having a hard time adapting to Sherut Leumi, feeling alone, and overwhelmed with the Hebrew and cultural differences. We launched Netivot Aliya through Aminadav to help smooth the integration path and give young women extra resources as they transition to become independent adults in Israel. By encouraging students to do Sherut in Hebrew as much as possible, and providing a supportive "home base" as well as lots of extra resources, we hope to help olot build their own identity and find their own path to Aliya.
